This extension to a protected structure terraced house in Clonmel created a new space that brought a light-filled garden room to this stunning Georgian architecture. The roof integrates solar hot water panels, which would not have been allowed on the existing building. Built in natural materials such as timber, wood fibre insulation and zinc roofing, with careful attention to detail the weathering of the iroko cladding for longevity.

It includes bespoke details like recessed floor radiators, concealed timber-clad door to services, a walk-in shower area in the w.c., sliding pocket door and hand made joinery throughout. This is real gem and one of our favourite projects!
