Services designer required for EnerPHit project
Building Services Designer wanted. I am looking for expressions of interest from consultants who would like to act as Services Designer for our EnerPHit extension and refurbishment project in Glasheen, Cork.
The project information is shown here.
We have submitted a planning application, and prepared a successful PHPP calculation.
The Services Designer should be competent in using the PHPP software, and be able to demonstrate this competence in your application. You will be required to design a cost-effective, low primary energy system that will supply
– domestic hot water
– space heating
– heat recovery ventilation
compliant with the EnerPHit standard.
You may wish to quote separately for the design of the other mechanical installations applicable in a domestic project where relevant, (water supply, internal drainage).
You may wish to quote separately for the design of the other electrical installations applicable in a domestic project where relevant, (power supply check, lighting/electrical layout, fire safety system, intruder alarm design).
These services are separated because it may not be possible to source a full mechanical/electrical engineer designer and a competent designer/supplier may be able to provide the appropriate mechanical design service who is not in a position to supply all the services required.
You must be able to demonstrate competence to act as a designer for this element under the BC(A)R regulations. You will be required to inspect the installation, in accordance with an inspection plan (to be finalised), and issue an Ancillary Certificate of Compliance with the Building Regulations in the prescribed format.
