PHAI (Passive House Association of Ireland) Southern Chapter final site to Cork City Enerphit.

As part of the Passive House Association of Ireland (PHAI.ie) Southern Chapter programme of CPD in passivhaus building knowledge, members have kindly agreed to open their building projects for site visits as a learning resource for builders, architects, students, systems installers and potential clients.

Our Cork City passivhaus is almost complete, and registration is now open for the final series of site visits. The site visit will take place on Monday 26th June at 16.00 (ends 16.45) and will look at the near completed building. Drawings, models, etc will be available for discussion.

Our final air-tightness test should be complete at that stage, we have passed 2 provisional tests already.

Prospective participants must apply in advance using the form attached to this page, and you will be sent a registration form which you must sign and return to the architect before your place is secured.

Each site visit costs €10/€5 students (funds go to the Southern Region Chapter of PHAI),

This event if free to members of the Passive House Association of Ireland (membership €150), so please join rather than pay as you go, to avail of all the other benefits of membership.

Places are limited to 5 students max, and 10 in total, first come first served. If there is substantial interest we may host a second group, but each will be limited for safety and ease of discussion. All participants must bring their own hard hats, steel toe safety boots and high-vis vests.

Please use the Twitter and Facebook buttons on the bottom of this page to share this as widely as you can so we can let everyone who wants to understand Passive House know about this wonderful opportunity to see it happen first hand!
