New Passive House design for 2018! This is our latest passive house project about to be submitted for planning approval in early 2018. On the edge of a town in County Cork, nestled in a beautiful valley with stunning views. The design orients the main dining room toward a distant ruin on the horizon, and the accommodation is sequenced to work with the daily (apparent!) sun movement. The approach from the rear is behind a dramatic screen wall and mounded earth fill which rolls the landscape onto part of the roof. The building is exceptionally private at first, and then opens outward from within.
